About the Role:
The Head of Digital and Insights is a member of the Organisational Enablement leadership team and leads the Digital and Insights team. This team drives, integrates, and strengthens the Ministry's digital and technology, and data and insights functionalities.
In this leadership role, you will enable the Ministry to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will blend expertise in digital technology with a deep understanding of data, analytics, and insights to guide the Ministry towards achieving its objectives. You will be responsible for managing IT vendor relationships.
You'll work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and provide advice on the technology direction and define a vision that focuses on practical business outcomes for the Ministry.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in leading enabling functions in a technical service delivery environment.
Understanding of procurement practices, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management for optimal resource acquisition and cost-effectiveness.
Expertise in data analysis with strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Experience with budgeting, financial management, and vendor management.
Proven ability to stay current with key technical developments and opportunities in their field and proactively use this knowledge to continuously enhance the Ministry's services.
Experienced people leader dedicated to building meaningful team relationships.

Salary range: $169,590 - $224,313 dependent on skills and experience.
