Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Head of Department for English to join our small secondary school in Lumsden, Southland.
The successful applicant will teach students at all levels and have a willingness to participate in the extra-curricular life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:

To lead the English department and develop curriculum that caters to students at various levels.
To embed Matauranga Maori within the curriculum and contribute to its growth and development.
To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:

Certificated teacher with 2MU and HPSTA qualifications in English.
Experience in teaching students at Years 7-15.
Strong understanding of Matauranga Maori and ability to integrate it into the curriculum.
The estimated salary for this role is approximately $NZD 90,000 - $120,000 per annum based on the title, job description, and location.
