We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Head of Languages to lead our highly engaging and successful languages department.
The successful applicant will:
be required to accept, recognise and preserve the special character of the school and be committed to the school's mission and values.
understand and have a commitment to girls' education.
oversee scholarship.
be able to lead the department through curricular changes currently taking place.
possess leadership skills in the areas of staff management, reporting and administration. This means they are able to maintain high standards of fair and equitable assessment practices, and have robust structures for moderation, gathering of formative assessment data and maintaining up to date assessment databases.
plan and implement Health and Safety procedures relevant to the teaching resources and spaces for the learning area. This may include providing training and support to staff outside of the learning area.
