Internal Communications (Marketing & Communications) Are you ready to step up as a communication leader in New Zealand's sustainability shift and help us bring to life our company's values and vision for change?Enviro NZ is at the forefront of New Zealand's sustainability movement, and we're seeking a Head of Communications and Engagement to spearhead our mission.The Role:As the Head of Communications and Engagement, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the CEO. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute communication strategies that elevate our company's reputation, engage stakeholders, and align with our business objectives.Your key Responsibilities:Craft and implement comprehensive communication strategies and provide strategic counsel to leadership on their communication needs.Act as the liaison between Enviro NZ and the media and become the go-to expert for journalists seeking accurate information.Enhance internal communication channels and curate engaging content to showcase our achievements and reinforce our company culture.Proactively engage with government bodies and key stakeholders to align with industry objectives and drive meaningful partnerships.Develop and implement communication plans to address potential issues, mitigating risks and safeguarding our reputation.What you need for this role:A tertiary qualification in journalism, marketing, public relations, or communications.Minimum of 10 years of experience in journalism, public relations, or marketing, with a proven track record of strategic communication.In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand media landscape.Strong network and experience as a media spokesperson.Exceptional writing and communication skills.Ability to foster strong relationships and negotiate effectively.Commercial acumen and ability to drive change autonomously.Resilient and adaptable in high-pressure environments.Join Our Team:If you're ready to make a real difference in shaping New Zealand's sustainable future, we invite you to join us.
