Oversee the daily operations of boarding facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
Develop and enforce boarding policies and procedures.
Address any residential issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
Provide pastoral care and support, acting as a mentor and trusted advisor.
Maintain regular communication with players' families, school/educational staffing teams, and coaches, updating them on their child's progress and well-being.
Ensure all boarding activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety drills and maintain up-to-date safety records.
Work closely with medical staff to manage any health-related issues.
Manage the assistant and support staff teams of the boarding service.
What We're Looking For:
Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role, preferably within a sports academy or boarding school setting (e.g., Childcare and/or teaching qualification as a minimum).
Strong understanding of adolescent development and the unique needs of young athletes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
First aid certification and a clean police record.
Solid understanding of child protection.
Ability to manage stressful situations that may arise in line with player/boarder boarding living.
