Here's some info:Is this your next role?You'll play a crucial role in measuring, forecasting and guiding the use of the Heartland Bank's balance sheet to ensure optimum use of our capital and funding resources. You'll ensure the correct risk tolerances are set through the Bank's ICAAP and Stress Testing Processes.You will also have ownership of the Bank's Capital Regulatory Returns and the five-year financial forecasts which reflect our strategic plans and growth aspirations.Does this sound like you?You're a strategic and analytical thinker with considerable experience and proven capability in balance sheet management within the banking sector. You're not afraid of rolling up your sleeves, handle complexity with ease and you're known for being great to work with.With strong communication skills, you're a pro with:An expert understanding of the Basel 3 regulatory framework and the capital requirements it drives for various asset classesNot essential but an industry recognized relevant qualification, such as a CFA or CTP would be beneficialStrong detailed experience within a bank's Treasury departmentsAbility to grow and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and executive teamsStrong attention to detail and critical thinking skillsAdvanced Excel skills including the ability to develop complex financial modelsAbility to manage time effectively while working on multiple projects and with deadlinesA bit about us and what we doHeartland is an NZX/ASX-listed financial services group with big growth plans.
