Significant sales leadership opportunity for an award-winning media business!We're looking for an exceptional sales leader to join our senior commercial leadership team to drive revenue through the Agency channel across our Radio, Out of Home, and Digital channels.You will be the key lead in driving our agency commercial strategy and strengthening MediaWorks' market position to ensure share growth and revenue targets are achieved. You'll embrace the challenge of running a highly motivated sales team to be the best Agency team in Aotearoa, balancing commercial needs with a customer-centered approach.If you have experience working in media and/or media agencies and a deep knowledge of the media landscape, trading, and revenue generation, let's chat.What you'll do:Reporting to the CEO, you will work across the MediaWorks Group to drive our agency sales strategies, enhance market reputation, and accelerate profitable growth through a client-centric approach, ensuring we are working towards our vision and purpose (To be New Zealand's first choice for media for our power, customers, and audiences).Key Responsibilities:Strategic Vision: Create a comprehensive agency team strategic vision that aligns with the company's goals, emphasizing unique brand or channel propositions and brand stories that will strongly connect with clients/audiences.Team Leadership: Develop, motivate, and coach a high-performing agency team capable of executing in a fast-paced, agile environment. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement, empowering team members to take initiative and deliver results.Growth Delivery: Create a competitive advantage through leveraging MediaWorks assets to deliver impactful solutions that add value.Data & Insights Led: Provide market insight and strategic direction to the broader commercial and business long-term plans internally as well as with external agencies and clients.Customer Centric: Ensure our customers and people are at the heart of everything we do. Develop and implement innovative trade marketing campaigns to attract and retain clients, including lead generation, nurturing, and conversion strategies.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, promotions, insights, and digital teams to ensure cohesive client and brand experiences and responses to the highest standards.Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, media, and industry influencers to amplify reputation.What you'll bring:You're someone who can build and maintain strong relationships, work strategically with our partners, and you are a highly effective negotiator. You have a successful track record in senior sales leadership roles, delivering results and revenue targets within a highly competitive industry.
