We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Head Housekeeper.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, our Head Housekeeper will lead from the front and inspire a small team whose passion it is to exceed guests' expectations on a daily basis.
Duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Manage all Housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas of the Hotel are cleaned, presented and maintained to an impeccable standard.
Complete customer satisfaction by effectively managing all systems and procedures within the production of Housekeeping.
Maintain responsibility for achieving departmental wage budgets through careful monitoring of rostering and productivity and to roster staff subject to the occupancy of the hotel.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Minimum 2 years previous experience in a Hotel Housekeeping role, at a supervisory level essential.
A team leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide appropriate role-modelling and leadership for departmental team members, in addition to ongoing training.
A high level of organisation and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
A commitment and passion to providing impeccable standards of guest facilities and services.
Maximising productivity with a hands-on approach, displaying high motivation and energy levels.
Computer literacy, preferably with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Clarity (Hotel Management System).
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
