Head Chefs

Kebab Express is on a hunt for an experienced and talented Head Chef to join us. We have two positions available. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 – 4 years of cooking experience, who has been a Head Chef with experience in running the front line in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Experience in Turkish cuisine is a must. Your duties include: Working hands-on with and leading our hardworking kitchen team Helping with running the kitchen during day-to-day busy service, delegating jobs, and managing time and staff Main prep work, including protein which requires excellent knife skills Working together with other kitchen staff/Owner to create new menus seasonally, weekly specials, and developing a new production line Communicating and coordinating with our restaurant manager to achieve excellent speed and quality service, organizing and managing functions, special events, and pop-ups throughout the year Following recipes to produce consistent, quality dishes according to our high standards without any compromise Stock management, including ordering, leveling prep, and ensuring food costs are kept within budget Being responsible for and enforcing FCP and other hygiene, health, and safety requirements In return, we offer: Positive working environment Very competitive salary package, uniforms, tips, and bonus share Work-life balance with a short Hospo working week In short summary: You must have excellent chef and team management skills, a good work ethic, be not just a leader but also a team player.
