Your Role at The Ballarat: As Head Chef, you will:
Lead and inspire a kitchen team of 3-5, delivering top-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Manage food costs, labor, and the overall performance of the kitchen – perfect for someone who loves a challenge.
Ensure that all dishes meet The Ballarat's high standards of taste and presentation.
Take charge of kitchen administration, including inventory, payroll, and maintaining strict food safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a high-energy kitchen environment.
Strong leadership skills or a Sous Chef eager to take the next step and lead a team.
Knowledge of NZ food control plans and a commitment to high safety standards.
A chef ready to step into a leadership role, tackle challenges, and make their mark on Queenstown's culinary scene.
