A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Chef at our iconic Wellington Waterfront Restaurant. You will lead our talented team and ensure that every dish that leaves the kitchen goes out at the high standards for which we are renowned. This role is ideal for an inspired, hardworking individual, with a commitment to high standards and the ability to succeed and thrive under pressure.
The successful applicant will:
have a proven track record of reliability and consistency
lead, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to achieve excellence every service
be passionate about local produce and food trends
work with our Executive Chef to implement new menu concepts and regular specials
ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes
manage kitchen operations, including ordering and stock-taking to plan and manage food costs
manage and maintain our Excellent rated FCP records online with Chomp
foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative work environment
