Are you a talented and experienced chef looking to take on your own kitchen?Azur Lodge is located just minutes from Queenstown and is a 5* luxury lodge. Azur boasts outstanding panoramic views from the main lodge and each of the private 9 villas. Our guests all experience breakfast included in their stay which is a main feature of their lodge experience, along with enjoying home baked afternoon tea daily and finally, carefully prepared canapes each evening, to enjoy with their pre dinner drinks, served by our Lodge hosts.  We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef who can bring the below qualities:You are innovative and creative and have experience in a la carte breakfast service and able to prepare enticing canapes, you have an appetite for creativity and enjoy autonomyYou enjoy menu development and working with a small dynamic teamYou are well versed in stock control, kitchen and FCP requirementsAbility to lead by example, set and maintain standards and lead the Kitchen teamCreate and foster a fun working environment as our Lodge features an open planned kitchen where our Lodge hosts also work from and guests pass byYou are capable of assisting with the preparation of staff meals, included for all our team, dailyYour passion for excellence means you will work closely with the General Manager to create and deliver unique dining experiences for our guestsDue to a newly renovated Lodge dining room, we will be creating unique evening dining experiences to be slowly introduced to our lodgeAzur in return offers the below:  - An opportunity to work in a boutique lodge in one of Queenstown's most spectacular locations  - Full time contract, hours between 6am to 3pm *varying hours for evening expansion   - A roster working 4/5 days a week as shared with another chef working part time   - An incredible work environment with parking, staff meals and ability to have evenings free  We invite you to join a team dedicated to excellence in all we do.
