Details of the offer

Central Deli is a thriving, well-established café in the heart of Mount Maunganui, known for our fresh daily offerings and vibrant atmosphere.
With 85 seats and a newly obtained liquor license, we're ready to take the next step in our journey and we need a talented Head Chef to join us.

At Central Deli, we're renowned for our exceptional cabinet food and fresh baking, which has led to regular catering requests from local businesses and events.
Our catering service involves preparing everything on-site, with customers picking up their orders directly.
As Head Chef, you'll collaborate closely with management to ensure smooth organization and timely execution of catering orders.
You'll also oversee staffing schedules to maintain the high quality and efficiency we're known for, ensuring our day-to-day operations continue to run seamlessly.
Our vision is to be a go-to destination for locals, from morning coffees to afternoon treats, and a relaxed evening spot once a week.
We also boast a fully covered, all-weather courtyard, ideal for private functions, where you'll have the chance to design custom set or tapas menus for special events.
We're seeking an experienced and innovative chef ready to join us on this exciting journey as we grow and evolve our business.
This position will start full time mid October 2024.
