About the Role –  
We are searching for forward-thinking and innovative individuals who are capable of transforming ideas into quality dishes. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the kitchen, delivering high-quality food services and nutritious meals to our customers. The role involves varied, active, and stimulating duties, requiring a positive can-do attitude and a commitment to enriching the lives of our customers with kindness and a smile. 
Responsibilities: 

1    Creating and planning menus while advising chefs and cooks on appropriate portion sizes and serving practices.
2.    Reviewing labor and food costs and arranging menus according to budgetary constraints.
3.    Conferencing with customers to discuss and plan menus for special occasions such as weddings and banquets.
4.    Arranging for the purchase and repair of kitchen equipment, ensuring that all tools are in working order.
5.    Examining supplies of foodstuffs to ensure their quality.
6.    Consulting with establishment management to discuss problems and strategize plans.
7.    Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures while monitoring the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation.
8.    Assisting in cooking and providing support to junior chefs if required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

 
Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required: 
·       Minimum 2 years of similar experience in a busy environment or a relevant qualification in hospitality or culinary arts.
·       Experience in quality and cost control is essential.
·       Excellent food hygiene practices.
·       High standard of personal hygiene and presentation.
·       Ability to thrive in a small, high-paced, and high-volume environment.
·       Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with attention to detail.
·       Team player with effective communication skills.
Pay and Benefit 
·       Full-time permanent employment.
·       Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.
·       Hourly rate ranges between $30.00 -$32.00.
