Head Chef - Dunedin - Amina Bank

We are seeking a seasoned chef to lead our culinary team in the picturesque Arthur's Pass, nestled in the Southern Alps.
As Head Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless service at our upscale nature lodge.
Key Responsibilities Craft exquisite breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus using locally sourced ingredients.
Adapt dishes to accommodate guests' dietary needs.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Maintain optimal food costs and minimize waste.
Source and store high-quality kitchen supplies and equipment.
Communicate operational issues with management effectively.
Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef in a luxury establishment, preferably with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
Strong organizational, people management, and communication skills.
Familiarity with food safety protocols and/or culinary certifications.
Demonstrated passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, with a talent for creating memorable culinary experiences.
