Head Chef - Auckland, New Zealand - Sawmill Brewing Company Sawmill Brewery seeks a Head Chef for the Smoko Room Restaurant.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment in the kitchen, where team members feel good about coming to work.

Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining kitchen policies and procedures
Ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
Imparting knowledge and skills to kitchen staff
Designing and developing new dishes and menus
Minimising food waste and maintaining excellent food safety standards
Preferred competencies include:
New Zealand Certificate in Cookery or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head Chef
Food safety course within the past 3 years
