After taking the title of Champion Small New Zealand Brewery in 2023, we're looking to take the Brewery to lofty new heights.The ideal candidate will work closely with our Production Manager and Sales Manager to oversee all facets of beer production, while helping to grow the brand and develop new products.
Being a small brewery, the Head Brewer's role will have great variety from day to day, yielding the best experience in all facets of Beer Production.Reporting to the Production Manager, your role will include:- Beer Production in all forms, from raw material selection through to packaging and everything in between.- Record Keeping and Quality Control.- Monitoring of Brew Conditions.- Collaborating with the Production Manager to create new Beers.- Managing Staff.- Health and Safety Management.- Inventory Control.- Representing the Brand.- Monitoring and Assisting in Brewery Maintenance.To succeed in this role you will have:- 3+ years experience running brew operations.- Attention to detail and organisation.- Excellent communication skills.- Good physical health and fitness.- Experience managing staff.- Forklift License.- A great personality that can represent our brand.In return, you will receive:- Being part of an amazing and motivated team, that gives plenty back to the community.- A competitive salary, meals and of course, beers.- Unrivalled experience being across all aspects of the brewing process.Your application will include the following questions:- Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?- How many years' experience do you have as a Brewer?- Which of the following forklift licences do you have?- What's your expected annual base salary?- How much notice are you required to give your current employer?- Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?
