Head Baker - Gisborne - Baker'S Well

We are seeking an experienced head baker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking continental bread and cakes, as well as experience managing inventory and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management: Attend daily production meetings, manage inventory and ordering of supplies, and coordinate baking staff to ensure smooth operation.Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prep all baking materials for the specific job, and assemble dry and wet goods for production.Equipment Operation: Utilise industrial equipment to facilitate efficient production, and handle all hot or dangerous items with care.Quality Control: Ensure all baked goods are stored and packaged properly, and adhere to Health, Sanitation, and safety requirements.RequirementsAvailability: Must be able to work from 4am - 2pm, 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays.Experience: Preferably with 2-3 years' experience as a head baker, and experience with baking continental bread and cakes.Skillset: Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment, understanding of food safety practices, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annumBAKER'S WELL HOLDING PTE.
