This role is responsible for managing regional inventory, optimising the harvest, supply and distribution of kiwifruit inventory from orchard to market as per supply plan and ensuring specific scheduling, storage and packing requirements are met.More specifically this role is responsible for:Planning and executing a well-coordinated and timely harvestEnsuring packed product is managed in a timely manner to meet contractual loadout commitments between Seeka, ISFL/Zespri and SeekaFreshManage inventory to meet specific policy outcomes e.g.
tasteMaintain an order priority system for shipping in conjunction with harvest and inventoryAnalyse and report on post-harvest region product dataExperience and qualifications:Microsoft Office Suite: IntermediateExperience extracting useful information and translating it into actionable objectivesPrevious experience using software and other computer based technology either in Seeka specific programmes or using a similar software platformLogistics knowledgeExperience working within kiwifruit, horticulture or primary industryExperience implementing company process or policyKey skills and attributes:Effective and clear communicationGreat organisational and time management skillsAnalytic and troubleshooting skills - can see the problem in relation and find a solutionAbility to grasp new conceptsWhat we offer:Free on-site parkingHealth, life and trauma insuranceGreat family-feel team environmentThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Seeka team in a great location.
