Supporting a UK-wide network of over 5,000 local, expert technology providers, Giacom makes it really simple for technology resellers and MSPs to access everything they need to create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses.
The hardware support specialist will work alongside our Mobile sales department and Giacom partners supporting all hardware order processes within our new drop ship model running through Stock In The Channel system (SITC).
The role will have contact with our key suppliers ensuring that they are processing orders from Giacom to the highest standard and also managing any additional services they are providing. The role will provide support to the sales team assisting in vendor bid processes and ensuring that we are effectively providing key vendor road maps into our Go to Market planning. The role will also be assisting in the management of our products catalogue within the systems and also margin control on products.
What you'll be doing:
Liaising with Distributors for any orders that have failed automation and engaging with partners on any order issues or queries and managing order status and updates in SITC system.
Supporting Sales team in managing back orders and bulk orders and bid processes with suppliers and vendors.
Managing any partner returns requests with suppliers and raising of any credits due to partners.
Managing SIM card stock levels with approved suppliers and managing orders via networks and processing of Bulk partner sim requests for whole of Giacom partners.
Managing any virtual warehouse holdings and stock ordering of any network branded equipment.
Supporting finance with purchase order queries.
Managing the Hardware catalogue, improving and managing the categories listed and maintenance of displayed supplier feeds and management of overall margin overlays.
Working with Vendors on maintaining required accreditations, new product launches and any service processes and engaging with marketing to ensure our go to market strategy is aligned and also providing any vendor reporting required.
Managing supplier set ups and completing regular reviews on performance.
Qualifications:
Experience in hardware supply chain.
Must be competent with the MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
Must be approachable and have good communication skills.
Must have a keen eye for detail.
Must be self-motivated, driven and able to manage own workload.
