Management (Community Services & Development)Full Time, Social ServicesPlease Quote Reference Number 96941Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives?Can work 40 Hours per weekGroup facilitation a strength?Odyssey House provides residential, prison and community-based programmes for people with drug/alcohol concerns.A key community-based programme is Hapori Ora, an intensive, non-residential programme which runs day and evening groups.
Using clinical and non-clinical approaches, this programme offers a holistic approach around alcohol and drug use.
Family and Peer Support is also available as part of this programme.We are looking for an experienced Alcohol and Other Drug Practitioner to lead this small, dedicated and friendly team of clinicians and peer support team members.
As well as facilitating groups and working one-on-one with clients, you will work alongside people in the referral and post-treatment stages.The preferred applicant will:Hold a Level 7 or above health-related qualification.Have experience in AOD and/or mental health work.Be keen to work in a busy and varied role.Be able to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to cover at least one evening group per week, as rostered.Have leadership experience in a health setting.Be confident working with administration, reporting, and team coordination.Be registered with an allied health body i.e.
