Handyperson Wanted Work Location: Canterbury RegionEmployment type: Full-time (minimum 30 hours/per week, Monday to Sunday), Permanent roleOur pay: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experienceWe are a property management company based in Christchurch.We are now looking for a handyperson to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.Tasks you may carry out:Repair and maintain the property including mowing the lawns, and miscellaneous property work.Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)Perform basic repairs in and around the houseComplete general maintenance workAbility to provide consistent customer service and quality.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to complete projects on time and within budget.Ability to use basic tools, measurements, and calculations.Undertake carpet cleaning and other cleaning as neededMaintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.Repair equipment or appliances.To be successful you will need to:Be a great team player, be able to follow instructionsBe physically fit and willing to work hardGood eye for detail and an ability to solve problems practically and effectivelyHave a "can-do" attitudeOur goal is to inspire people more than manage them.
