Job Description:We are looking for an experienced demolition laborer to undertake a variety of tasks involved in the demolition of buildings and structures.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety regulations and proven experience in the demolition industry.Responsibilities:Perform demolition of buildings, structures, and other sites as directed.Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, sledgehammers, and concrete saws.Assist in the setup and maintenance of scaffolding and safety barriers.Safely remove debris and ensure proper disposal in compliance with environmental regulations.Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to meet project specifications and deadlines.Identify and safely handle hazardous materials, including asbestos and lead.Conduct site clean-up and preparation for new construction.Requirements:Minimum of 1 years of experience in demolition work.Proficiency in operating demolition tools and heavy machinery.Strong knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.Physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Valid driver's license.Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred).What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and safety-focused work environment.Ongoing training and certification opportunities.
