Handyman

We are looking for a Handyman for our hotels in QueenstownKey Duties for Maintenance handymanResponsible for carrying out day-to-day repair and maintenance requirements of the building, facilities and equipment as well as the surrounding areas of the Hotel, Car Park and storage areasMaintain records of repair work and daily checks as required by local Council, Government and Manufacturer specifications.Liaise closely with Front Office and Housekeeping teams regarding maintenance in rooms to expedite a quick turn around and return to inventory.Ensure the external areas of the hotel are neat and tidy and maintained in line with company brand standards. This role is suited to an experienced maintenance handyman or a trade qualified individual looking for more diversity in their day to day duties.Previous experience within a Hotel Maintenance is highly advantageousTrade backgroundSound knowledge of plant machinery and building equipment maintenanceAbility to work over a rotating rosterCapable to lead and mentor junior duty techniciansThis role does include weekend work
