This role is crucial to embedding best practices and supporting our teams in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Health & Safety strategies and systems.Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.Risk Assessment: Identify and manage potential hazards, conducting thorough risk assessments, and implementing preventative measures.Incident Management: Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up to drive continuous improvement.Training & Development: Deliver training programs to promote H&S awareness and competence across all levels.Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular audits and prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership.Culture Building: Promote a strong safety-first culture through engagement, coaching, and communication.About You:Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role.In-depth knowledge of New Zealand H&S legislation and best practices.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective H&S strategies.Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.All applicants must have the current rights to work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
