We are seeking dedicated Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologists who can fulfil the following responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for obstetric and gynaecological patients.
Clinical expertise in the management of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care of obstetric patients with moderate levels of complexity including medical complications, abnormal labours and operative deliveries.
Monitor and treat expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Perform a wide range of diagnostic tests, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams.
Diagnose and prescribe treatments for disorders and diseases related to women's health.
Conduct routine check-ups and follow-up appointments.
Perform gynaecological surgeries, such as colposcopy, LLETZ procedure, laparoscopic surgery and pelvic organ prolapse repair, including minimally invasive procedures.
Manage and perform emergency obstetric procedures as needed.
What are the requirements for this role?
Hold current registration as a Obstetrician and Gynaecologist doctor .
Meet the English Language requirements set out by the New Zealand Medical Council.
Meet the requirements of one of the New Zealand Doctor registration pathways.
Have a Post Graduate Qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
