We are seeking a Coach & Judge Development Lead to join our Education Team based at our Head Office in Grafton, Auckland. This role is focused on the design and delivery of strategic initiatives to grow and develop the coach and judge workforce in gymnastics in alignment with the GNZ Coach Development Framework (CDF).
Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering a calendar of development opportunities
Supporting the network of coach developers
Providing support to clubs implementing the CDF at local level
Delivering education events including Coach Connect
Minimum Requirements:
Coach development experience at regional or national level
Minimum 5 years coaching experience
Strong administration and organisation skills
The ability to effectively manage relationships and a strong focus on customer service
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
A positive outlook and a solution-based approach to challenging situations
Gymnastics experience is a benefit but not essential
This role will suit a self-motivated individual with a passion for sport and developing people and their skills so that in turn they deliver great experiences for the people they are coaching or judging.
This role is currently 0.8 but has the potential to become full-time in the future. The role is located in Auckland but there is flexibility to consider other locations for the right candidate.
