Our receptionists superstars always ensure QT Gym is clean and tidy and always able to assist with any enquiry from our members. Duties can vary from day to day, but below is a typical snapshot of the responsibilities of a receptionist.
Responsibilities Customer Service
• Greet and farewell members entering and exiting the club, both from Reception and on the Gym Floor.
• Assist prospective members by explaining membership options and benefits and touring around the facility.
• Assist members with any membership enquiries.
• Provide members with recommendations for Personal Training.
• Answering phones and handling enquiries.
Administration
• Completion of membership forms, both manually and electronically.
• Process paperwork for manual payments and complete cash and EFTPOS transactions.
• Daily reconciliation of till and banking procedure.
Cleaning and Health & Safety
• Completion of daily cleaning roster specifications.
• Hazard identification and reporting.
• Completion of shift checklists, including opening and closing.
We require a receptionist for 4-5 shifts either 6am - 1.30pm or 1.30pm - 9.30pm. Permanent days will be scheduled on a fortnightly roster which will include weekend work. 20 - 32 hours per week.
This position would be an immediate start.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
No experience necessary as full training will be given.
