Tawa College is looking for an innovative and future-focused lead counsellor to join our Guidance Department. Tawa College's Guidance Department currently works with a shared leadership model. The full-time guidance counsellors distribute responsibility between them.
We are looking for an experienced guidance counsellor to join our team and be responsible for managing external relationships, staffing, school systems leadership, and structural responsibilities alongside their critical guidance role as a part of a refreshed student care system being launched in 2025.
Key responsibilities: Inspire and share the leadership of the Guidance Department. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement a clear and exciting long-term vision for the care of our students. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student wellbeing and growth. Contribute to the broader school community and its development goals. What we are looking for?
