Guidance Counsellor

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Guidance CounsellorWe are seeking an experienced guidance counsellor to support our students and work collaboratively as an integral part of the wider pastoral team.Our ideal candidate will:Hold a current membership or provisional status with NZAC or similar professional bodyBe a registered teacher with a current practicing certificate (desirable)Have proven school counselling experience working with young people and their whanau/family within a school contextInstinctively promote emotional and mental wellbeing, self-confidence, and resilience among students and staffBuild and maintain strong relationships with external support agenciesBe a lifelong learner, always seeking to improve yourself both personally and professionallyCounsel students Y7 through to Y13.If you believe this might be an ideal move for you, please get in touch.
