Guidance Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced, proactive student counsellor to support our students and work as an integral part of the wider pastoral care team.
This is a part or full time role covering parental leave.
Ideally you will: Promote emotional and mental wellbeing, self-confidence and resilience.
Have proven school counselling experience working with young people and their whanau/family within a school context.
Be able to build and maintain strong networks with external agencies.
Be qualified and experienced.
You would be responsible for counselling students Y7 through to Y13 and must be able to work collaboratively and proactively with our students, parents, staff and the wider school community, deans and senior leadership team.
This role can be part-time or full-time for the right candidate.
Start date of 28 January 2025 for a term of one year covering parental leave.
