A leading property management company specialising in short-term rentals in the stunning Queenstown region, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Guest Services / Head Housekeeper Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our guests' experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of our rental properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Lead and manage the housekeeping team, setting clear expectations and conducting regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and other essential items, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
Develop and implement housekeeping protocols and standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all properties.
Foster a positive working environment, training and mentoring housekeeping staff to deliver excellent service.
Utilise your organisational skills to create and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring all properties are prepared for guests efficiently.
When required, perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas - this includes (but not limited to) vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, ovens, BBQs, topping up amenities, and making beds.
Requirements: Previous experience in guest services and/or housekeeping management, preferably in the hospitality industry, 1 year minimum.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and presentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must hold a full NZ Driver's License.
