Are you ready to immerse yourself?About the roleReporting to our Front Office Manager, the Guest Service Agent role will place great focus on anticipating and meeting the desires and needs of our guests whilst maintaining high standards of service. Providing all of our guests with a warm, welcoming, and personable experience throughout their stay.Key Responsibilities:Check guests in and out with efficiency and friendliness and in accordance with the established Hotel procedural guidelines.Communicate any guest requests to the appropriate department(s) and follow up to make certain the request has been fulfilled in accordance with the guest's wishes.Process daily guest transactions and accounts accurately and efficiently.Be fully conversant with information on the area as a destination, the services available at and through the hotel, and any special events taking place in the area.As the first point of contact for the Hotel, you are guest-driven and enjoy exceeding guests' expectations. You can work shift work which involves various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Skills & experienceWillingness to learn.Previous reception experience in a hotel/resort environment will be beneficial; however, full training will be provided on-site.Effective communication skills (written and verbal).Work together with trust and treat all guests and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect.Working knowledge of Opera PMS.A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.Strong interpersonal skills.If you feel you have these key qualities, please apply and join our Arawa Park Hotel Rotorua team.Unfortunately, overseas applications will not be taken further as this role is not available to support any work permit.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
