For more information visit unilode.com.Position OverviewThe GSE mechanic will repair and maintain ground support vehicles and equipment for our aviation customers.General ResponsibilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Repairs and services on ground service equipment such as loaders, forklifts, GPU's, push back TUGs, stairs, ramps, passenger lifting devices, tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans.Maintains heavy equipment that includes hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery.Inspects ground support vehicles and equipment to determine whether repairs are needed.Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs.Schedules periodic maintenance for ground support vehicles and equipment.Maintains a clean and safe repair shop.Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.Maintains repair log for vehicles and equipment.Additional duties as assigned.Why Unilode?4 weeks of annual leavePension contributionQuarterly bonusYou:You will add to our quality culture if you can bring:Previous related experience preferred.Knowledge of hydraulic systems a plus.Ability to use hand tools and power tools to repair ground support vehicles and equipment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment.Excellent mechanical repair skills.
