Entry Level: Recent Graduates and StudentsAuckland,New Zealand Requisition ID:35338Groupm NZ is looking to create a specialized investment division within the organization that works seemlesly with the other specialist verticals. The primary responsibility of the unit is to be accountable for every dollar spent by every customer across all media channels from implementational planning and execution through ensuring correct billing and media owner payment.The Investment Executive works to the Investment Manager in specific customer allocated units, The aim of each unit is to create immediate to long term investment strategies and tactics that provide groupm's customers market leading, highest value solutions and innovations to drive their expected outcomes. The investment performances are then reported back to customers in terms of consumer delivery, holistically and by channel, and most importantly how they drove customer outcomes to constantly refine and optimize future customer investment decisionsWhilst each team is responsible for the development and accountability of its personnel, working in an entrepreneurial culture also means it is also up to the individual to take responsibility for their own developmentEvery member of the investment team will be perpetually supported in all aspects of their career development in terms of training and coaching, individually and collectivelyYour responsibilities:People:Work with the Investment Manager to learn and develop buying, trading and most importantly investment skills across all media channels.Prioritise workflow and deliverables – internal and external.Upwardly manage internal stakeholders through relevant, transparent, consistent, regular, accurate, insightful, meaningful and easily digestable information flowContribute to a 'constantly learning and improving' culture that encourages co-operation and an atmosphere of a working and learning partnership with the other specialist unitsBe flexible and open to other specialism's ideas and proposalsEnsure the Investment Manager is continually informed in current operational status by customer to ensure a consistent 'stop, less of, more of, start' philosophy of customer service is in placeTake personal and team responsibility to operate to all of groupm's compliance mandatesBe an active and valuable participant in the company's developing entrepreneurial, career building, outcome driven cultureOver time, grow commercial and communication acumen, presentation and document writing skills based in storytellingCustomer:   Maintain strong and effective relationships with customers (where relevant), media owners, other team members, other company members and, any other company contacts. The customer is everyoneMedia ownersCreate sustainable, mutually respectful relationships based on integrity with all media owners appropriate to the team's customers current and future requirementsEnsure that all relevant media owners are briefed simultaneously, in a timely manner, with integrity, in a clear, unambiguos and consistent manner with all the information to create the best value response for the team's customersEach media owner's proposition needs to be evaluated from a non partisan perspective with each value offering assessed on the basis of contribution to the customer's required outcomes, both individually and collectivelyBefore any contact with the media owners, the executive must liaise with their manager to ensure that any information relayed is in keeping with other previous and future team, agency and group interactions and what is the most approriate line of conversation to takeProduct   With the Investment Director's and Manager's leadership and support, help develop the investment capability to a market leading level as viewed by the team's customers and media ownersThe executive is required to have an excellent working knowledge of the Agency's relevant tools and systems including, but not exclusive to;Microsoft Office (especially Excel)PegasusArianna/eTamTV MapThe executive should be able to demonstrate a deep knowledge and passion for each part of the chain from implementational planning, media owner negotiation, execution, reporting to billing   CommercialDeliver to all investment KPI's set by the Investment Director and Investment ManagerBe accountable for the spend, day to day quality and volume delivery on the customers the Manager has assigned the executive across all media channelsEnsure all invoice queries are resolved within 5 daysBe accountable in ensuring any contracted media agreements are upheld by all parties and if not the Manager is alerted in a timely mannerAnalytical Judgment   Demonstrate a significant level of initiative and resourcefulnessConstantly re-appraise investment briefs and campaign performances and evolve and improve outputPrevious experience in media planning and buying (1 year or more)Knowledge of media channels and toolsPassion for the media industry and specifically the importance of investment in the processWhy work for GroupM:Work in a very diverse and multicultural team ?WFH flexibilityLife, trauma, and income protection insurance ????Health and well being benefitsIf this sounds like a role you are interested in, APPLY NOW!#J-18808-Ljbffr
