Group Risk Manager

Our client is a leading non-bank lender providing consumer, motor vehicle and mortgage lending as well as business lending to a broad range of clients.They are looking to establish a new position of Group Risk Manager to enhance their risk governance, risk culture, and risk reporting within the business.The role:Manage the risk reporting process for Op Risk, Enterprise Risk, and the quarterly Board Audit and Risk Committee.Identify and monitor new and emerging risks.Manage and maintain the enterprise risk management system. Create registers to improve enterprise risk reporting capability.Lead risk management communications and staff engagement initiatives.Ensure risk and control registers for each business unit are updated and maintained.Provide guidance to the business on policies and procedures.Ensure incidents, issues, and actions are effectively managed, reported, and resolved.Assist CRO with internal reviews.Support staff training and coaching.The person:Experienced risk professional with a financial services background.Ability to write management reports for the executive and the Board.High attention to detail and ability to analyze complex issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.For further information please click on the "Apply Now" button or call Tonia Calderwood on 09 358 0888 to discuss this position in more detail.
