About the Role This is a permanent part-time position based in Central Otago / Lakes District working 20 hours per week as a Group Programme Coordinator.
As a member of the Family Works team at PSO, you will work within a multidisciplinary team but also be part of a larger regional team of colleagues delivering the Incredible Years Parenting Programme and our own Growing Taller programme to tamariki, rangatahi and whanau accessing this service.
This role will give you the opportunity to make a real difference for tamariki, rangatahi and whanau in our community.
About You We would love you to:
Have a clear understanding of child development and proven ability to relate to tamariki.Have an awareness of social issues and the impact these have for whanau, especially regarding parenting.Demonstrate exceptional planning and organisational skills.Manage complex and competing priorities effectively.Have skills to develop resources for group programmes, both creative and research-based.Have skills in the use of computer systems and databases to maximise the use of technology for improved service provision.Be able to work independently and as part of a wider team.Flexibility to deliver evening Programme.A full driver's license is essential for this role.About Us Family Works is a service within Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) that works to ensure every person is valued and grows in a safe and strong community.
