It is an exciting time to be working in rail as Auckland prepares for the integration of the City Rail Link and integrating operations to what has been billions of dollars invested for the future mobility of the city.City Rail Link (CRL) is a game changer for public transport for our city and after years of disruption, we will need to be well prepared to ensure day one operations are executed with efficiency and precision - day one is a key outcome of leading the rail team, as is preparing for the next ten years and continuing the transformation.Key Responsibilities:Represent AT at CRL OneClient executive meeting.Meet with MoT and other senior rail industry participants on the MROM review.Review annual plan and monthly financials.Approve rail input into monthly MOP reporting.KiwiRail meeting for approval of rail network renewal works for the coming financial year.Reviewing transition plans for the EMU maintenance to be delivered by AOR.Writing board report on SSDO investment options / benefits.One to one coaching with direct reports.Presenting at the Transport, Resilience and Infrastructure committee.Minimum Qualifications:Tertiary Degree in Commerce or Engineering.20 years' professional engineering management experience.15 years' experience in a leadership role.10 years' experience with Public Transport and ideally rail specific experience.Desirable will be experience in complex Contract procurement.At AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.
