About the Opportunity We have a full-time position for a Group Leader role based in Nelson.
Group Leader roles are busy.
Staffing shortages and other daily challenges mean that you will need to be flexible, think fast, be resilient and have a great sense of humor.
You will receive support from your Manager and other Group Leaders along with external supervision.
The Nelson-based Service provides residential support to people with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and long-term chronic health conditions.
Qualifications and Experience You will have: An NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) Advanced Support, or an equivalent health or disability-related qualification as assessed by the Ministry of Health.
Preferred candidates will hold a Level 5 qualification or above in a Human Services field.
Experience working in the field of disability is advantageous.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
Live Life Disability supports 200 disabled individuals across 65 residential homes across Nelson and Marlborough.
