About the role We now have an exciting leadership opportunity in the Community Development team leading the Environmental Science team based throughout New Zealand.
Responsibilities: Work with the NZ CD Regional Director and team to create short, medium, and long-term plans.
Achieve or surpass business goals for the Environmental Science Team.
Grow and develop the team, ensuring a good mix of qualified and experienced staff.
Address the personal development needs of all team members.
Collaborate with senior staff and others to maintain a leading, sustainable business.
Lead business development activities for the group.
Align local business development strategies with national goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat business.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role you will be: A recognised leader in the industry with 12 years of experience—someone who leads from the front, is resilient, and works hands-on to ensure we deliver excellent outcomes for our clients.
Strong commercial and business acumen combined with an inclusive and proactive leadership style.
Highly connected within the Environmental Science sector.
Experienced in achieving agreed revenue, profit, and utilisation targets through delivery of complete and accurate work on time and to budget.
Experienced in achieving agreed business development goals through optimum utilisation of group and company resources.
