This role is part of a newly formed leadership team, collaborating with other key senior leadership roles to set a future-focused direction for ENZ. You will be an exceptional leader, decisive and apt at leveraging the specialist skills of your team members.
The nature of the position ENZ is seeking a dynamic Group General Manager of Marketing, Brand & Scholarships to lead the promotion of New Zealand's world-class education sector on the global stage. Reporting directly to the newly appointed Chief Executive, you will shape and execute ENZ's marketing, brand, and scholarship strategies. Your leadership will be crucial in telling New Zealand's education story globally, driving international student awareness and engagement, and enhancing New Zealand's reputation as a premier education destination.
Key responsibilities:Strategic leadership: Develop and lead ENZ's global marketing and brand strategy, aligning with organisational objectives to drive measurable growth in international student engagement.Innovative campaigns: Create impactful marketing campaigns that position New Zealand as a top education destination.Scholarship programmes: Oversee scholarship initiatives to support international education growth and align with ENZ's strategic goals.Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with NZ Inc partners, education providers, and offshore teams.Team leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering alignment and engagement across ENZ. What we are looking for: We seek a candidate with extensive strategic experience in leading global marketing and brand strategies, strong business acumen to align marketing initiatives with organisational objectives, and exceptional relationship management skills. The ideal candidate will exhibit leadership excellence, inspiring and empowering teams to achieve ambitious goals, and possess an innovative mindset with a passion for customer-focused marketing approaches.
