Based in beautiful Queenstown, our Financial Planning & Analysis team are looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Financial Analyst to provide maternity cover for an initial period of one year, with the potential to extend to a permanent role.
This is a role focusing on business partnering with stakeholders globally, and providing key financial knowledge and insight to senior leaders.
Involved is the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monthly performance reporting, reporting/BI system development and other projects as they arise.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced professional, with the ability to balance the operational and financial growth strategies of the business.
The position will suit someone with a solid grounding in a similar financial/commercial analyst role who is looking for that next level of ownership while still being supported by the team around them.
The successful candidate will also have: 3-5 years relevant experience in a role dealing with collation, reporting and ownership of data from multiple sources Strong financial knowledge including driver-based forecasting, profit and loss reporting, KPI reporting Experience partnering with operational managers to understand performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability Experience in building and improving financial and operational reporting packs, including developing summary commentary for executives Experience with continuous improvement around data flows/automation Tertiary Qualification, preferably in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Economics Strong understanding of accounting principles Proven problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Strong business acumen To become part of the Magic team, click apply today and attach your Cover Letter and CV.
