About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Accounting & Treasury Manager.
This role is critical to ensuring that Fletcher Building meets its accounting and treasury reporting obligations as a listed entity in multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include: Providing and preparing accurate technical accounting assessments and recommendations in compliance with GAAP and NZ IFRS to the business.Maintaining, providing training on, and regularly updating the Group's accounting policies to ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, including NZ IFRS and any other local regulatory requirements.Managing and preparing the Group's treasury reporting, including month-end processing, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Group's treasury system (Quantum).Administering the Group's Lease accounting and reporting system (LOIS) and supporting businesses with the application of IFRS 16 guidance.The role's principal outputs are prepared for review at the Financial Controller / General Manager (GM) level, with some reports subject to external audit.
The objective is to ensure compliance, achieve successful audit outcomes, and provide clear, transparent communication to the market.About you: You'll come equipped with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Prior experience within a large organisation or multinational corporation is advantageous.
It's expected you'll have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, as well as a CA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent professional accounting certification.
