We are enriched by many different languages, customs and lifestyles.The Group Finance & Performance team is responsible for performance management, financial control, corporate office income and expenditure, settlements, Group IT accounting, external financial reporting and other non-financial reporting.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Group Accounting & Treasury Manager.
This role is critical to ensuring that Fletcher Building meets its accounting and treasury reporting obligations as a listed entity in multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:Providing and preparing accurate technical accounting assessments and recommendations in compliance with GAAP and NZ IFRS to the business.
Maintaining, provide training on, and regularly updating the Group's accounting policies to ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, including NZ IFRS and any other local regulatory requirements.Manage and prepare the Group's treasury reporting, including month-end processing, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Group's treasury system (Quantum).Administer the Group's Lease accounting and reporting system (LOIS) and support businesses with application of IFRS 16 guidance.The role's principal outputs are prepared for review at the Financial Controller/General Manager (GM) level, with some reports subject to external audit.
The objective is to ensure compliance, achieve successful audit outcomes, and provide clear, transparent communication to the market.About youYou'll come equipped with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Prior experience within a large organisation or multinational corporation is advantageous.
