The role: We're on the hunt for a Group Accountant to ensure the group meets all accounting and tax related regulatory and compliance requirements as well as providing support for ad-hoc finance projects.
This is an exciting new position created to strengthen our teams depth and ability to support our growing business.
This role would suit a qualified CA with several years experience looking to enhance their career outside of a professional services firm while still utilising their technical knowledge.
The key aspects of the role will be: Prepare monthly group consolidated accounts for reporting to the Board and InvestorsMaintain the parent company's accountsPreparation of annual financial statements for all entities, including the consolidated group, assisting with the transition to IFRS compliant accounts as required.Preparation and submission of income tax returns for all reporting entitiesOversee the groups FBT and GST calculations and returnsMaintain the groups cashflow forecasts and banking covenant forecastsWork with the Finance Manager and Commercial & Reporting Manager to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial informationAssist with pricing reviewsMaintaining and updating fixed asset recordsReview of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for each reporting entityCompletion or review of various other monthly reconciliations and ad hoc tasksPrepare the business for financial and PCI DSS audits and assessments, coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentationProject support to CFOBack-up support for the finance team functions.Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all our accounting tasksContinuous improvement of systems and processesWhat's in it for me?
