Group Accountant

Reporting directly to the CFO this broad position covers financial and management accounting tasks for one of the entities. Supported by a small yet dynamic finance team. The role: Reporting; monthly and quarterly with analysis and commentaryMeet annual reporting and tax obligations (with support)Budgeting and forecastingSupport Treasury Accountant with cashflow requirementsFinancial analysis and ad-hoc project workCompliance and internal control tasksAbout you: Relevant tertiary degree as well as a current CA or CPA qualification is idealUnderstanding of NZ reporting and compliance requirementsIdeally exposure to property industryCommercially astute with transparent, timely and open communicationStrong systems skills and exposureThe desire to add value and learnStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStart 2024 with a new opportunity in a long standing, well regarded organisation.
