Nestled in the heart of Morrinsville, Matamata Country Club is set to be a serene haven for our residents.
We pride ourselves on maintaining lush, green spaces that provide a tranquil and beautiful environment.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Groundskeeper to join our team and help us continue to care for our stunning village grounds.
Role Overview: As our Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and care of our village grounds.
Your role is crucial in ensuring that our outdoor spaces remain pristine, safe, and inviting for our residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities: Lawn Care: Operate ride-on lawn mowers to maintain our expansive lawns, ensuring they are always neat and well-manicured.
Edging and Trimming: Perform precise edging and hedge trimming to keep our gardens looking sharp and tidy.
Weed Control: Apply weed spraying techniques and engage in regular weeding to keep our grounds free of unwanted plants.
Mulching and Plant Care: Mulch garden beds and care for a variety of plants, ensuring they thrive in our environment.
Tree Care: Monitor and maintain the health of our trees, being observant of any signs of disease or distress.
Proactive Maintenance: Identify and address potential issues before they become problems, ensuring the safety and beauty of our grounds.
Qualifications: Proven experience in groundskeeping or a similar role.
Proficiency with ride-on lawn mowers, edging tools, hedge trimmers, and weed sprayers.
Must have a full NZ Drivers Licence.
Knowledge of plant care, mulching, and tree maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
