Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience in grounds maintenance with a mix of general trade skills to join our team, but we are also keen to mentor the right person.
The role
Keeping landscapes healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing.
Lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding to maintain outdoor spaces.
Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform irrigation system checks and repairs to ensure proper watering and distribution of water to plantings.
Maintain pathways, walkways, and other hardscape features by sweeping, removing debris, and conducting minor repairs.
General trades work such as filter changes, painting, minor repairs and other maintenance tasks as required
To be successful you'll have:
Previous experience working in a hands on maintenance role with experience in or interest in general grounds maintenance
Good level of physical fitness and ability to work outdoors
Possess a Class 1 Drivers Licence
The ability to work effectively as part of the team
Be friendly and approachable with a can do attitude
Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment
