Our Hirepool Vehicle Rentals teams provide expert advice to business, commercial and recreational travellers on a wide variety of transport options. Catering to both local short-term customers and larger long-term contracts, we meet the transport needs of everyone from big names in infrastructure, construction, film/TV and sporting events to independent contractors, casual weekend hirers.
As a Groomer/Customer Service, you will help ensure our vehicles are well maintained and ready for hire. Fleet presentation is key to the success of our business, so you'll be playing a really important role in giving our customers a great hire experience. You will need excellent customer service and administration skills and a confident phone manner to field queries, provide advice, and put quotes and contracts together. At this branch, you're part of a small, hardworking team, so you need to be prepared to help out across all areas of branch operations.
What you'll do:
Keep the branch's vehicle fleet groomed to the highest standards
Occasionally delivering and picking up vehicles around Palmerston North
Ensure all the necessary compliance checks are carried out
Help identify and escalate any repair and maintenance issues
Answer phones - provide sales advice and quotes
Create contracts and complete transactions
Office administration and customer account maintenance
What you need:
A basic level of computer skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable
Ability to work with a diverse array of people and build successful working relationships
Willingness to work on a rostered basis - our branch is open Monday-Saturday.
