Grocery Supervisor

We're looking to progress internal talent into this Grocery Supervisor position.
The Role As a Grocery Supervisor your responsibilities will include;
Leading the day-to-day operations of the Grocery Department (mornings) including leading a team of Grocery AssistantsAssessing daily needs of the team and adjusting priorities as they changeEnsuring the shop is full and appealing throughout the hours of tradeEscalating issues to the Grocery Manager/Duty ManagerSupport the development of the team and contribute to a positive store cultureOur Grocery Supervisor will be someone who has a co-operative spirit and an eye on the bigger picture. The Grocery Supervisor will primarily be rostered mornings, this will be negotiated and tailored to the applicant.
About You You willalready havea good understanding of supermarket operations, this experience may be from within the Grocery Department or elsewhere in the store. You will also have;
Strong organisational skills and the ability to time manageCommunication skills with a strong customer focusAbility to set the tone of the shift with a positive and engaging mannerThis is agreat opportunity to further your journey within the store and pathway as a leader.
